CERAN UK is delighted to announce that it has received approval by a major nationwide industry body.

The leading language school, located in Sherborne Warwick, has been accredited by Accreditation UK, the nationally recognised quality assurance scheme for English language teaching, as managed by the British Council.

In order to receive the much-coveted accreditation companies have to adhere to an intense inspection procedure, covering everything from company documentation through to learning facilities.

Siân Choma-Peters, Director of CERAN UK comments: "Having previously received the British Council accreditation for our Junior Programme, we noticed a significant increase in international enquiries and experienced a big boost in business as a direct result. As such, we naturally decided to put our Adult Programme forward for the standard as well.

"Although this involved a lot of administrative work and general preparation, all the hard work has paid off and we are really pleased with the result. I am extremely proud of the fact that both our Adult and Junior Programmes have now received this prestigious industry recognition and feel that this is a clear demonstration of our professionalism, skills and commitment to customer care.

"It can be daunting for individuals, who typically move over from their home to a foreign country where they do not know anyone, to move into a language school. However accolades such as these can help them to source quality, professional and welcoming language schools."

Accreditation UK, formerly the English in Britain Accreditation Scheme (EiBAS), is the quality assurance scheme for UK based English Language Teaching (ELT) providers.

Managed by the Accreditation Unit of the British Council in partnership with English UK, the UK's national, professional ELT Association, the scheme supports the teaching and learning of English, helping to strengthen UK English language teaching in a highly competitive international market.
