Why
CERAN Languages?
According to the latest
international surveys, 3 out of 4 jobs advertised,
call for a good knowledge of languages, and employers
across the world, agree that languages are now more
important than ever in career development.
Whether it is in the
context of international business meetings or the
globalisation of your business and business contacts,
your future and that of your company, may depend on
your language skills being constantly updated.
At a CERAN centre, this
economic necessity is enhanced by the pleasure of
meeting course participants from all over the world,
with whom you will share the common goal of communicating
in a foreign language.
The
personalised CERAN approach, with complete immersion
from 8.15 am until 10.30 pm, combined with a rigorous
and scientifically based methodology, enables you
to make a maximum of progress in a minimum of time.
Our language courses are designed by experienced trainers
to meet your expectations and needs, and we are committed
to your learning success.
The
CERAN Methodology
Complete immersion in
the language is the key to the success of the CERAN
Methodology. Being involved in the learning process,
you are conscious of, and responsible for, your own
progress.
The
CERAN Techniques:
- The QRI® or Question
- Response
- Intonation
The QRI® is an interactive
technique based on a system of questions and answers,
which help learners to improve their capacity for
oral communication naturally.
The trainer uses the
QRI® to:
- Correct.
- Introduce new linguistic elements.
-
To give the learner the opportunity
to structure knowledge, acquire grammatical structures,
and develop vocabulary in functional language
systematically, according to the objectives fixed.
The
Key Sentences
The key sentences repeat
the essential points of each lesson and are recorded
by the trainer onto personal audio support, which
the students take away with them at the end of their
stay.
Phonetic
Correction
The phonetic correction
used by the CERAN trainers has two goals: to improve
sound perception and thus comprehension of a message
on the one hand, and to correct intonation, rhythm
and stress, as well as sound production on the other.
CERAN trainers use the verbo-tonal method of phonetic
correction as taught at the University of Mons-Hainaut
in Belgium.
